\nThe Department of Health and Social Care has published The 2019 voluntary scheme for branded medicines pricing and access<\/a>.\u00a0 This paper sets out an agreement between DHSC and the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry on getting the best value and most effective medicines into use more quickly.\u00a0 The voluntary scheme will start on 1 January 2019 and will be in place for 5 years until 2023.<\/p>\n

\nThe Royal College of Physicians has published Fracture Liaison Service Database annual report December 2018<\/a>.\u00a0 This report describes the assessment and treatment for osteoporosis for 52,731 patients who sustained a fragility fracture in 2017. It also describes the impact of the implementation of Fracture Liaison Service improvement plans, by comparing performance measures before and after as well as assessing whether any improvement was sustained.<\/p>\n

\nThe Department of Health and Social Care has published Government response to joint committee report on the draft Health Service Safety Investigations Bill<\/a>.\u00a0 In this response to the draft Health Service Safety Investigations Bill, the government commits to developing the bill taking into account the committee\u2019s recommendations and will look to introduce a revised bill soon.<\/p>\n

This report analyses a survey of more than 200 homeless health nurses about issues facing their area of practice. It explores the structural, contextual, environmental and practical changes needed to reduce, prevent and eliminate homelessness, and tackle the associated burden of disease.<\/p>\n
