The Department of Health and Social Care has stated that it will work with local authorities in England to plan for a \u201cseamless transition\u201d from the current trial to routine commissioning in 2020\/21.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Personalised care<\/strong><br \/>\nNHS England has produced a series of factsheets relating to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.england.nhs.uk\/publication\/personalised-care-factsheets\/\">personalised care<\/a>.\u00a0 These provide an introduction to what personalised care is and the work that NHS England is doing.\u00a0 They cover areas such as personal health budgets, supported self-management, social prescribing and professional development<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Primary Care Networks<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Nuffield Trust has published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nuffieldtrust.org.uk\/resource\/primary-care-networks-a-pre-mortem-to-identify-potential-risks\">Primary care networks: A pre-mortem to identify potential risks<\/a>.\u00a0 A recent event drew together 45 GPs, local commissioners and representatives from NHS England\/Improvement and the British Medical Association to undertake a \u2018pre-mortem\u2019 exercise to consider the threats and weaknesses of the introduction of Primary Care Networks by imagining their hypothetical failure. This paper presents six risks that could lead to the failure of primary care networks and suggests a set of recommendations and possible solutions for avoiding each of these pitfalls.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Disability in the workplace<\/strong><br \/>\nNHS Employers has introduced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhsemployers.org\/news\/2019\/11\/reasonable-adjustments\">reasonable adjustments in the workplace web pages<\/a> which provide information regarding reasonable adjustments to help NHS organisations support disabled staff in the workplace.\u00a0 They cover legal responsibilities links to examples of reasonable adjustments, policies and other useful resources to support good practice.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Multiple site single services<\/strong><br \/>\nPublic Health England has published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/multi-site-single-service-improving-outcomes-reconfiguring-services\">Establishing the evidence base for \u2018multiple site single service\u2019 (MSSS) models of care: systematic review<\/a>. This systematic review describes the evidence base for MSSS models of care which deliver care across more than one clinical site or location through a single clinical service or team.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Paediatric Critical Care and Surgery in Children Review<\/strong><br \/>\nNHS England and NHS Improvement have published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.england.nhs.uk\/publication\/paediatric-critical-care-and-surgery-in-children-review-summary-report\/\">Paediatric critical care and surgery in children review: summary report<\/a>.\u00a0 This is the summary report of the national review into paediatric critical care and specialised surgery in children, which took place in October 2016.
