There is also a struggle to recruit clinical technologists and there is often difficulties in finding maternity and sick cover, leaving services strained. Overall, there is a vacancy rate in the radiotherapy workforce of eight per cent, with the greatest number of vacancies at entry level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interim bulletin: harm caused by delays in transferring patients to the right place of care. &#8211; Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch<\/strong><br \/>\nThis investigation explores <a href=\"https:\/\/hsib-kqcco125-media.s3.amazonaws.com\/assets\/documents\/hsib-interim-report-harm-caused-by-delays-in-transferring-patients-to-the-righ_EPeMfuS.pdf\">issues around patient handover to emergency care<\/a>. This bulletin outlines early investigation findings and recommends a national response to tackle this issue.
