The plan will set out the government\u2019s vision for how <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhsconfed.org\/publications\/digital-health-and-care-plan\">digital use will support the transformation of services, as well as a delivery plan on how existing commitments will be achieved.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Joint position statement by the British Menopause Society, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and Society for Endocrinology on best practice recommendations for the care of women experiencing the menopause<\/strong><br \/>\nThis <a href=\"https:\/\/thebms.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Optimising-the-menopause-transition-Joint-position-statement.pdf\">Position Statement<\/a> recommends an individualised approach in assessing women going through the menopause, with particular reference to lifestyle advice, diet modification as well as discussing the role of interventions including HRT.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Racism is wrecking the lives of doctors, affecting patient care, and jeopardising services &#8211; BMJ\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nIn an NHS built upon a founding principle to treat all patients equally regardless of who they are, it\u2019s a shameful reality that this principle does not apply to its workforce, with evidence established of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmj.com\/content\/377\/bmj.o1515.short?rss=1\">racial inequality and discrimination<\/a> running rife within the medical profession.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Covid-19: Omicron sub variants driving new wave of infections in UK &#8211; The BMJ\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nThe UK now appears to be at the start of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmj.com\/content\/377\/bmj.o1506.short?rss=1\">new wave of covid infections<\/a> \u00a0driven by the rise of two omicron subvariants\u2014BA.4 and BA.5.Cases and hospital admissions with covid are now rising sharply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Allied Health Professions (AHPs) strategy for England &#8211; NHS England<\/strong><br \/>\nThis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.england.nhs.uk\/publication\/the-allied-health-professions-ahps-strategy-for-england\/\">new strategy<\/a> is for the whole Allied Health Profession (AHP) community: support workers, assistant practitioners, registered professionals, pre-registration apprentices and students. It is inclusive and reflects how AHPs work in multidisciplinary teams, so that those who identify as part of the AHP community working in a variety of health and care sectors can use it to continually improve and redesign services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Invitation for expressions of interest to become Discharge Integration Frontrunner sites<\/strong><br \/>\nLetter inviting expressions of interest from local systems interested in leading the way in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.england.nhs.uk\/publication\/invitation-for-expressions-of-interest-to-become-discharge-integration-frontrunner-sites\/\">developing and testing radical new approaches to discharging people from acute care<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaking Up support scheme &#8211; NHS England<\/strong><br \/>\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.england.nhs.uk\/publication\/speaking-up-support-scheme\/\">scheme<\/a> is designed to support individuals who, following a formal speaking up process, have experienced\u00a0 significant adverse impact, leading to difficulties moving forward in both their professional and personal lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who Pays? Determining which NHS commissioner is responsible for commissioning healthcare services and making payments to providers &#8211; NHS England<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.england.nhs.uk\/publication\/who-pays-determining-which-nhs-commissioner-is-responsible-for-commissioning-healthcare-services-and-making-payments-to-providers\/\">Who Pays?<\/a> sets out the framework for establishing which NHS commissioner will be responsible for commissioning and paying for an individual\u2019s NHS care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NHS estates and facilities workforce action plan &#8211; NHS England<\/strong><br \/>\nThis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.england.nhs.uk\/publication\/nhs-estates-and-facilities-workforce-action-plan\/\">action plan<\/a> sets out how we will fulfil the ambitions of the NHS people plan and NHS people promise for our estates and facilities workforce across England over the next ten years, with a focus on the immediate priorities outlined in the 2022\/23 operational planning guidance.
