It includes ten recommendations covering commissioning, workforce education, training and supervision, and service development and delivery.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Shaping The Future: A Strategic Framework For A Successful NHS \u2013 The Health Foundation\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nThis <a href=\"http:\/\/www.health.org.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/ShapingTheFuture.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">report <\/a>argues that a successful NHS strategy cannot be lifted from another country or calculated using a special formula \u2013 that no \u2018silver bullet\u2019 exists which will solve the complex challenges. It provides a strategic framework for national leaders working to create a sustainable NHS over the current parliament and beyond. Commissioned by the Local Government Association, it proposes the establishment of a \u00a31.3 billion a year transformation fund until 2019\/20 to develop a new health and social care system. This would be supported by a pooled health and social care budget, devolved powers for health, and reform incentives. The fund would focus on keeping people independent and preventing complex and long-term conditions. The report is designed to prompt debate at both a national and local level.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sustainability, Innovation And Empowerment: A Five Year Vision For The Independent Social Care Sector \u2013 Care England\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nThis <a href=\"http:\/\/www.careengland.org.uk\/sites\/careengland\/files\/Care%20England%20-%20Five%20Year%20Vision.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">report <\/a>warns of a collapse in the system if providers and commissioners do not work together and more nurses are not recruited into the independent sector. It states that the next five years will be crucial in ensuring that the care and support services that many people rely on remain sustainable.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Good Practice In Ambulance Commissioning \u2013 NHS Clinical Commissioners<\/strong><br \/>\nThis <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nhscc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Good-practice-in-ambulance-commissioning-final-pdf-for-website-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">briefing <\/a>pulls together examples of good practice from across the country. The purpose of the briefing is to share innovative ways of commissioning emergency care, to help ambulance commissioners to think about new ways of working, in partnership with providers, to deliver effective and efficient ambulance services in their local area.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">Health visitor and 0 to 5 commissioning transfer<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Department of Health and Public Health England has added <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/transfer-of-0-5-childrens-public-health-commissioning-to-local-authorities\">Factsheet: the role of Health Education England and Local Education and Training Boards<\/a><\/strong>, to the suite of documents published in August 2014 relating to the transfer from the NHS to local authorities of public health services for children aged 0 to 5 in October 2015. This briefing sets out the role and responsibilities of Health Education England and its Local Education and Training Boards in educating the health workforce.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Scheme to improve patient safety on track<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Department of Health has announced that a year after the launch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/scheme-to-improve-patient-safety-is-on-track-to-save-6000-lives\">Sign up to Safety campaign<\/a>, 260 NHS organisations have set out plans to save lives by reducing avoidable harm.
