The animations each explain one of the values set out in the NHS Constitution, with an overarching animation that explains the NHS Constitution itself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frontline First: more than just a number<\/strong><br \/>\nThis report reveals that there are 3,994 fewer full time equivalent nursing staff working in senior positions than in April 2010. Staff working at this level include ward sisters, community matrons, clinical nurse specialists and advanced nurse practitioners. It warns that with almost 4,000 fewer senior nursing posts than 2010, the NHS is being drained of valuable leadership, experience and specialist knowledge from the health service.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rcn.org.uk\/__data\/assets\/pdf_file\/0007\/564739\/004598.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Report<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NHS charges from April 2014<\/strong><br \/>\nIt is also intended that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/nhs-charges-from-april-2014\" target=\"_blank\">single charge will increase by 20 pence to \u00a38.25<\/a> in the following year.However, for the next two years the cost of a prescription prepayment certificate (<abbr title=\"prescription prepayment certificate\">PPC<\/abbr>) will remain at \u00a329.10 for a 3 month certificate.
