Stockport Lib Dems said that Stepping Hill had briefed staff that it has a \u00a340m deficit and is losing \u00a375 a minute. In a blog post on the NHS England website, Professor Sir Malcolm Grant, chair of NHS England, said that the group had agreed that a \u201cprinciples based\u201d&#8230;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>NHS Improvement to explore new private sector partnerships -Health Service Journal<\/strong><br \/>\nNHS Improvement is to explore new partnerships between the health service and the private sector, including the potential for further outsourcing of clinical services and the use of \u201cindependent sector management models\u201d.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>The Researcher<br \/>\n<\/strong>Health Education England and the National Institute for Health Research have launched a new digital publication<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hee.nhs.uk\/our-work\/developing-our-workforce\/clinical-academic-careers\/researcher\">The Reseacher<\/a>.\u00a0 Made by health researchers for health researchers, the magazine illustrates real-life stories of what it is like to undertake a research career.\u00a0 Three editions are planned; this first edition has the theme of breaking boundaries.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>NICE quality and productivity case study: lower urinary tract symptoms in men<br \/>\n<\/strong>NICE has published a quality and productivity case study from South Norfolk Healthcare Community Interest Company.\u00a0 The purpose of the initiative was to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nice.org.uk\/savingsandproductivityandlocalpracticeresource?ci=http%3A%2F%2Farms.evidence.nhs.uk%2Fresources%2Fqipp%2F1029985%2Fattachment%3Fniceorg%3Dtrue\">improve the quality of care for men with lower urinary tract symptoms<\/a> (LUTS).\u00a0 The primary aim was to prevent inappropriate referrals and raise the quality of patient referrals by improving the decisions made by clinicians and their patients.\u00a0 The use of patient decision aids and shared decision-making help to facilitate the quality of referrals and make better use of resources.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"If you have not already done so, please answer a few short questions about our Knowledge @lert service.
