It finds that while most STPs set out the case for change well and cover important key themes such as prevention, early intervention, more care delivered in the community, better mental health services and integrated working, there is a lack of detail underpinning the vision. It concludes that the lack of profile given to infants, children and young people (who comprise 25 per cent of the UK population) by the majority of STPs, is a cause for concern.

GPFV – one year on – BMA
Analysis of what was promised in the first year of the GP Forward View and what has been delivered so far around investment, workload, care design, practice infrastructure and workforce.

Three Election Briefings from the Health Foundation ahead of the general election June 2017:

Election briefing: NHS and social care funding – three unavoidable challenges

Election briefing: Quality of care in the English NHS

Election briefing: A sustainable workforce

Manifesto for Health Creation – New NHS Alliance (NNHSA) (formerly NHS Alliance)
The Manifesto for Health Creation sets out 10 high impact recommendations to create a wellness-based health system, aimed at tackling the continuing problem and social injustice of health inequalities.

Bolton delivers one of the largest PAS mergers – Digital Health
Digital Health Bolton NHS Foundation Trust have merged its hospital and community patient administration systems (PAS), in one of the largest merges of its kind in the UK. The merge, which took place in May, combined 300 million rows of data and 60 million …

Avoiding another cyberattack will take human and technical solutions, say experts – BMJ News
Protecting against a cyberattack of the sort that paralysed at least 47 NHS trusts on 12 May123 will not be simple, experts have warned.
