The largest part of this business cost is in the form of reduced productivity among people who are at work but unwell: or \u2018presenteeism\u2019. This costs businesses twice as much as sickness absence relating to poor mental health.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Consolidated charging policy 2017-18 &#8211;\u00a0NHS Property Services (NHSPS)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nThis <a href=\"http:\/\/www.property.nhs.uk\/charging-policy-2017-18\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">refreshed policy<\/a> outlines NHSPS&#8217; core charging principles for the occupation of properties that the service is responsible for. The key changes are updates on the vacant space handback scheme and the sessional space pilot. The vacant space handback scheme allows commissioners to\u00a0pass the liability for eligible vacant space back to NHSPS. The sessional space pilot allows for easier booking of NHSPS properties for short-term clinical and non-clinical use.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Reducing health inequalities: system, scale and sustainability &#8211;\u00a0Public Health England (PHE)<\/strong><br \/>\nThis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/attachment_data\/file\/641625\/Reducing_health_inequalities_system_scale_and_sustainability.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">document <\/a>identifies steps to support local action on health inequalities to improve outcomes.
