About us<\/strong><\/p>\n ICUsteps Southport is a charitable organisation founded by Critical Care staff and former patients that have experienced critical illness. The group allows individuals and their relatives\/loved ones to meet in an informal setting and talk about their experiences and concerns from their Critical Care admission.<\/p>\n Why do you need a support group?<\/strong><\/p>\n Individuals feel differently about a Critical Care stay:<\/p>\n It is thought that talking to other people that have been through a similar experience or talking to people that understand critical illness can help.<\/p>\n Drop in Sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n The drop in sessions are held once a month on a Wednesday 7pm-9pm at the Salvation Army, 65 Shakespeare Street, Southport PR8 5AJ.<\/p>\n If you would like to attend a meeting you can either phone 01704 705059 and leave a message with your contact details and one of the ICUsteps team will get back to you OR email icustepssouthport@outlook.com<\/a> Find us on Facebook and use the messenger service.
