{"id":24741,"date":"2020-11-30T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-11-30T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lihnnhs.info\/lancashirecarelibraryblog\/?p=24741"},"modified":"2020-11-23T14:41:00","modified_gmt":"2020-11-23T14:41:00","slug":"allied-health-professionals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lihnnhs.info\/lancashirecarelibraryblog\/2020\/11\/30\/allied-health-professionals\/","title":{"rendered":"Allied Health Professionals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research project opportunity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have joined up with UHMB Library and Knowledge Services within the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust to deliver a program on evidence based practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aims to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Map the distribution of AHPs across the ICP, breaking it down by professional role, who they work for and who they serve including any cross-organisational working<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Increase the awareness of Library services and provide support to aid with the treatment of patients<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Facilitate links across the Trust and within local authorities to create long lasting contacts and to share knowledge and good practice<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Offer an educational programme of evidence-based practice based on the concept of critically appraised topics supported by a series of lectures and workshops delivered by Lancaster University<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Stimulate engagement with research and service development in the ICP and provide the groundwork for research collaboration<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Equip staff with the knowledge, confidence and support to undertake their own research projects <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is open to all Allied Health Professionals across the Trust.
