The  strategy sets out the government\u2019s ambitions over the next five years to: reduce suicide rates; improve support for people who have self-harmed and improve support for people bereaved by suicide. The strategy was informed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/kingsfundmail.org.uk\/21A8-8ECCR-D03F54-591YVY-1\/c.aspx\"><strong>mental health call for evidence<\/strong><\/a> launched in 2022 and was developed to identify priority groups, suicide risk factors and steps needed to take by government and services.
