Local authority public health teams wanted evidence to support implementation of practical action on health inequalities<\/p>\n<p>The topics covered relate to some of the policy objectives in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.instituteofhealthequity.org\/projects\/fair-society-healthy-lives-the-marmot-review\">Marmot Review<\/a> and are intended to provide a useful local focus for action.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key features of driver:<\/strong>\u00a0The evidence reviews provide useful background information on public health issues, including the impact on measures such as life expectancy, morbidity, or impact on hospital admissions.
