The aim is to create a \u2018wellness\u2019 service (Public Health England) and to strengthen both national and local leadership. Consultation closed on 27th July 2011.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key features of driver<\/strong>: The following proposals are the key headings of this public health strategy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seizing opportunities for better health<\/li>\n<li>A radical new approach<\/li>\n<li>Health &amp; well-being through life<\/li>\n<li>A new public helath system with strong local and national leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Strategy also outlines how they will make this happen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary audience<\/strong>: Public Health Staff, key players in other partner department and organisations i.e. Local Authority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Impact on library policy\/practice<\/strong>: Some libraries are embedded within Public Health, a good example is <a href=\"http:\/\/blogbhm.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bolton Health Matters Informationist<\/a>.
