Bereavement care in neonatal units
Sands and Bliss have published Audit of bereavement care provision in UK neonatal units 2018.  This joint audit of bereavement care provision finds that despite instances of good practice by individual nurses and doctors across the country, many neonatal services are not set up to deliver consistent high quality bereavement care and health professionals are not getting the training and support they need to perform this role.


Engaging NHS staff in research
The RAND Corporation has published Enabling NHS staff to contribute to research: reflecting on current practices and informing future opportunities.  This report presents a rapid review of the evidence base on engaging NHS staff in healthcare research.   It  is aimed at organisations and initiatives seeking to engage staff in research.


Resolving disputes guidance
NHS England has published 2018/19 Contract Alignment Exercise Guidance on the national process for resolving disputes.  This document sets out the national approach to managing contractual disputes between NHS commissioners and Trusts under the 2018/19 Year To Date Contract Alignment Exercise.


Framework for effective board governance of health system quality – Institute for Healthcare Improvement 
This research finds that board members, and those who support them, desire a clear and consistent framework to guide governance of all dimensions of quality beyond safety, including identification of the core processes and necessary activities for effective governance of quality. The framework is published alongside a quality assessment toolkit and supporting guidance.
