This report looks at what people with a learning disability  and people with autism experience when they need physical health care and treatment in hospital.

This data analysis looks at ambulance service performance and explores the contributing factors and priorities for improvement.

Anxiety nation?: economic insecurity and mental distress in 2020s Britain – Joseph Rowntree Foundation
Amid rocketing rates of diagnosis for anxiety, and with 7.3 million English adults already having received antidepressants by 2017-18, this report establishes many connections between financial insecurity and poor mental health. It calls for more to be done to protect those millions of Britons, and not just those on the very lowest incomes, at a time of increasing prices and interest rates.

Cardiovascular disease in England: supporting leaders to take actions – The Kings Fund
Given its high prevalence and large contribution to health inequalities, tackling CVD will be a relevant priority in most local areas. Integrated care systems (ICSs) can tackle CVD in their local areas by establishing strong local leadership and partnerships on CVD and public health, focusing on preventing and managing CVD and its risk factors, raising awareness of CVD, using data, tools and technology effectively, and reducing clinical variation. This work is informed by an analysis of published data on CVD; a literature review of current policy and evidence; and interviews and a workshop with key stakeholders working in health and care.

RCN announcement on strike action – NHS Employers
